MISSION STATEMENT

My paintings are bold, colorful and larger than life. I combine my love of paint with hand painted papers and actual texture which creates multiple layers. This technique allows the viewer to delve into and become immersed in the environment of the work as the imagery wraps around the canvas.
My art explores, and is driven by, my fascination with things that are vulnerable and yet, have incredible strength. Nature is my guide with all its organic shapes and lines that allows this fluid backdrop for my work.
I am intrigued by the human form and all its imperfections. The transparency, layering and depth create a feeling of being one with the environment that embraces it.
